Some of the most exciting St. George activities you might want to include in on your agenda are guided excursions with area outfitters. You could take a guided dune buggy ride through some of the area’s lesser known-scenery with Red Rock Rails. You could also get off the beaten path on a guided ATV or Jeep tour through panoramic landscapes most tourists do not see with ATV & Jeep Wilderness Tours. If mechanized tours are not your thing, take an exciting rock climbing, hiking or mountain biking excursion with Paragon Adventures.
In addition to guided tours, other worthwhile St. George activities are attending the city’s many annual events, including the Huntsman World Senior Games and Dixie Rotary Bowl. The Senior Games, held every October, provides athletes age 55 and over the opportunity to compete in a variety of sporting events, including cycling, softball, volleyball, tennis and even cowboy action shooting. The Rotary Bowl is pits two top NCAA Division II football teams and includes other events as well, including a parade, a banquet, a concert and a tailgate party.
