The St. George area has many lodging options, from standard hotel rooms to vacation rentals to full hookup RV campgrounds. Most St. George hotels feature cable TV, laundry services, complimentary continental breakfasts, free wireless Internet access, as well as swimming pools and spas. Many of them also offer special packages that include extras such as rounds of golf at one of the area’s scenic courses, tickets to Broadway musicals at the Tuacahn Outdoor Amphitheater, dinners at area restaurants, and even treatments at local spas.

The main attraction for most guests of St. George lodging properties is southern Utah’s incredible scenery, which includes Snow Canyon State Park, Red Cliffs Recreation Area, and the region’s top tourist attraction, Zion National Park. From hanging gardens to spectacular viewpoints looking down on narrow canyons, Zion’s 229 square miles is full of some of the most spectacular scenery in the American Southwest. The park is home to enormous monoliths that tower thousands of feet above canyon floors as well as the greatest biodiversity anywhere in Utah. It boasts hiking trails the whole family can enjoy, including Weeping Rock, Riverside Walk and Emerald Pools.

While in St. George you can also take advantage of the city’s first-rate shopping opportunities at places such as the Outlets at Zion, the Promenade at Red Cliff, and Red Cliffs Mall, which are home to a variety of stores, including Eddie Bauer, Gymboree, Old Navy, Gen-X Clothing, Aeropostale, Hollister and PacSun. Grouped closely together, these three shopping centers are also near restaurants such as Ruby Tuesday, Chili’s, Red Lobster, Outback Steakhouse, Applebee’s and Olive Garden.
